Joe Gatti, MPAS, PA-C

Gatti.jpg

Joe Gatti is a native of the Pacific Northwest, who moved to Medford after 15 years of active duty military service in the United States Army to focus on his family and his love for dermatology.

After graduating from Del Norte High School in Crescent City, CA, Joe earned a Congressional appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following his graduation and commission as a Second Lieutenant in May 2005, Joe then applied to and excelled in the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program through the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After graduating with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS), then-Captain Gatti spent the next four years serving the Soldiers of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, as a dermatology focused Physician Assistant.

Joe is highly passionate about medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, with a particularly keen interest in excellent cosmetic results with dermatologic surgeries and procedures. “I don’t want my patients to only LOOK healthy,” he says, “but after healing, know they ARE healthy!” He is certified and trained in such areas as cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology including body contouring (CoolSculpting), neuromodulators (Botox), and fillers (Juvéderm), as well as advanced dermatologic surgical procedures. Joe takes great pride in his ability to offer patients maximum flexibility for their dermatologic needs while minimizing the necessity of seeing multiple clinicians at multiple facilities.

Joe is a founding member of The Clinic for Dermatology & Wellness and focuses his passion for excellence to his ongoing pursuit of better health, inside and out, for his patients, staff, friends and family.

Elena Forster, MPAS, PA-C

Foster.jpg

Elena Forster, PA-C, born and raised in Russia, recently moved with her family to the Rogue Valley from Pasadena, California. Over the past fifteen years she acquired expertise in all areas of dermatology, practicing in medical (adult and pediatric) and cosmetic dermatology. While Elena particularly enjoys medical dermatology and the challenges posed by difficult cases, she feels very passionate about treating children with skin diseases and offering support to them, and their families.

Elena is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She enjoys research and working on the cutting edge, and was listed as a sub-investigator on eight separate clinical trials conducted under the umbrella of Pasadena's well-regarded Huntington Hospital.

In many ways her move north to Oregon has felt like a homecoming because the Rogue Valley so closely resembles her home in southern Russia, where she graduated from medical school prior to coming to the United States.

Elena and her family are enjoying settling into their new lives - gardening, cooking, hiking with their Weimaraner, and sampling local restaurants. Their favorite pastime is exploring, and they are happiest when wandering the streets of ancient European cities or engaged in the hunt for the perfect Tuesday night taco truck!
